The window displaying the company accounts only uses part of the browser window and so only displays about half of each page if you zoom out to display the full page then it's too small to read.
Too much white screen on the eye generally. Could do with some more colour. Preview screens on the accounts and tax return pages are very small. Only a small section of the page in the preview window is visible as most of the page is taken by huge fonts and white space along the top whcih coudl be repalced by links and menus along the width instead of the height of the page. See taxfiler program who is a predecessor of this version of elements.
Also, when submitting accounts to Companies House, most of the page is filled with entering the authentication and selecting approved for filing. it is difficult to review the accounts below and you have to scroll.
It would be far better to have this side by side with only a small section on the left for entering the authentication code and selecting approved for filing.
Thank you for the comments, we have recently updated the Trial balance Tab to allow more rows and remove a good proportion of the white space. We will be looking to improve the other areas raised by this thread.
Me three, I've raised this our good overlords and they seem to agree it doesn't quite look right. The issue is further exacerbated for me because I use a 1440p monitor at 100% scale - it does look rather silly.
Eactly as stated. Also the TB window shows a limited range of accounts (compared to the previous product), so much scrolling is required to review the data.
Has this ever been looked at or the mapping pages. They are too small constantly having to scroll. Please fix.

Agreed. Not only the TB and accounts preview, in other areas too, so much screen space has not been designed/utilized properly (unlike TaxFiler)
On TB mapping window, it would have been helpful a drop-down list (like TaxFiler) to see the headings options available.
This version of IRIS requires too much scrolling, and too much whiteness on the page. Possibly some better colour schme could also work!
