TaxFiler had the ability to export a report containing the full client data held on file e.g. Client Name, Contact Name, UTR, NI number, Date of Birth, etc. It is now apparent that IRIS Elements Tax & Accounts has no reporting functionality. Meaning that we are required to go through each client record, individually, one by one, to manually extract the data. This level of reporting and data export is required in order to perform cross-references against other software packages to ensure that all data is present and correct, or move to a new software provider if required.
