Having UTR and other client information (like NI Number or address) assists with looking up data against the HMRC portal or data across multiple platforms.
We are downloading the tax return data from Iris and due to a lack of a unique reference, we are manually checking it against our PM software to ensure that the submissions have been made and recorded on the PM software.
Please add UTR across all downloads.
